The Unveiling of the D.C. United Cherry Blossom Kit 🌸

D.C. United unveiled the highly anticipated adidas Cherry Blossom Kit at a star-studded event at Audi Field on Thursday, February 16th. The club's Season Ticket Holders were the first to see and get their hands on the Cherry Blossom Festival-inspired jersey following a fashion show that featured first team players Steven Birnbaum, Mateusz Klich, Russell Canouse and Chris Durkin, as well as two legends from the club's early years—Jaime Moreno and Marco "El Diablo" Etcheverry. Washington Spirit defender Sam Staab also joined the Black-and-Red on stage to model the new jersey, as well as some special edition kicks.

Hall of Heroes Mural

Before we ushered in the future, we payed homage to our storied past with the unveiling of a special mural that features some of the biggest figures in D.C. soccer history. From Washington Dips legend, Johan Cruyff, to the original MLS Champions Marco Etcheverry and Jaime Moreno, to the legends of yesterday, the mural serves as a reminder that Washington, D.C. is a SOCCER CITY.

The Main Event

After unveiling the mural, it was time for the main event...the unveiling of The D.C. United Cherry Blossom Kit!

Then it was time to take them home!

D.C. United Season Ticket Holders were the first to get their hands on the new kit, available now online and at the D.C. United Club Shop at Audi Field!
